Mission
To raise awareness to the current gap in Emergency Treatment for all with special medical needs, to change current treatment protocols related to complex care patients, help educate emergency service personnel and educate affected families in proper emergency planning and protection.
Vision
To inform Americans of the oversight in existing emergency medical treatment protocols;
To protect the individuals who can be harmed or loose a life due to improper or delayed treatment;
To protect Paramedics and Emergency Physicians in providing necessary specialized care through awareness, regulatory changes and liability protections;
To build an “Action Team” in every state for necessary advocacy, education and possible legislation;
To see every state Scope of Practice updated to allow administration of patient-carried specialty prescription medications;
To create “Disease Specific Treatment Guidelines” for each of the conditions requiring specialized care through established stakeholder teams;
To see those Guidelines adopted nationally and in every state;
To provide education to families in Emergency Planning and provide Emergency Alert products for their protection
